Rosedale, Maryland, 21237! Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele
Facility: MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, Baltimore, MD
Unit: T1 Med/Surg Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/25/2025)
Positions Available: 2 Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (6:20 AM – 7:00 PM)
Patient Ratios: 1:6 Job Overview: Seeking an RN with MS/Tele
experience to care for high-acuity adult and geriatric patients on
a telemetry unit. This includes post-op, med-surg, and specialty
populations such as gender affirmation surgery patients. Floating
within equivalent or lower acuity units is required. Weekend
Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Must work 2–3
winter/future holidays On Call: Not required Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care on a telemetry/post-op MS/Tele
unit Administer IV therapy, blood products, PCA, heparin protocols,
and manage cardiac/vasoactive drips (no titration) Perform
respiratory care: chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, non-invasive airway
management, tracheostomy care Manage central and peripheral lines,
PICC lines, feeding tubes, and phlebotomy Participate in Rapid
Response/Code teams and telemetry monitoring Use Cerner (preferred)
for charting Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years MS/Tele
experience, prior travel assignment preferred Patient Ratio
Experience: 1:5–6 Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred NIHSS
required Skills: Telemetry, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia
management, IV therapy, post-op care, blood product administration
Licensure: Compact RN license or MD RN license in hand Hospital
