Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Profession:

Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3
Years in ICU License: Current Registered Nurse license required
Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - ICU
experience required - Cerner experience required - Graduate of an
accredited or NLN-approved RN program required - BSN highly desired
Description: The Intensive Care Unit is a multidisciplinary unit
that provides care for critical patients. Care includes managing
neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary,
cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma conditions. Various types of
technology are used in patient care. This includes ventilators,
ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters,
arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart,
Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, continuous renal
replacement therapy (CRRT), gastric tubes, and intravenous infusion
pumps. The role involves fulfilling the needs of patients,
families, and the community. Responsibilities include performing a
variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with
licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. 5
