government benefits! We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to
join our Cambridge Clinic . Nestled along the water, downtown
Cambridge is a welcoming, navigable, and historic community located
on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. As a Primary Care clinician within our
organization, your primary responsibility will be to provide
general and ongoing outpatient medical care to Veteran patients.
This role requires excellent clinical judgment, medical expertise,
and strong clinical skills, including medical interviewing,
physical examinations, and procedural abilities. Care will be
delivered in a manner that enhances Veteran health and well-being
through a personalized, patient-centered approach that considers
each Veteran’s goals, diagnoses, and overall needs. Benefits:
Recruitment or Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Relocation or
recruitment incentives may be available for exceptionally qualified
candidates. EDRP Authorized: This position qualifies for the
Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which offers student loan
reimbursement. Compensation: Competitive salary, annual performance
bonuses, and regular salary increases. Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of
paid time off annually (including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days
of sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays, and potentially 5 days for
CME). Retirement: Traditional federal pension (with 5 years
vesting) and a federal 401K with contributions of up to 5% from the
organization. Insurance: Federal health, vision, dental, term life,
and long-term care insurance (many federal programs can be
continued into retirement). CME: Must be full-time with board
certification. Malpractice: Comprehensive liability protection with
tail coverage included. Contract: No Physician Employment Contract
and minimal restrictions on moonlighting. About the Community:
