qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20007!
Pay Information $2,041 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Telemetry and Vents, PACU
experience, or a combination of PACU and ICU or high acuity
Emergency Department experience. License: Valid DC RN Licensure
(pending licensure accepted with proof of application).
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required prior to starting
assignment). Must-Have: - 1 prior travel assignment completed. -
Orientation hours: 28 hours. - Flu vaccine required. Description:
The PACU RN provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia
and surgery. The shift includes working staggered hours starting at
7 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM. There is no on-call requirement but a
weekend rotation is included in the schedule. Floating may be
required based on competency within Pre & Post Op Departments. All
colors and patterns of scrubs are acceptable, with a provision for
specific OR scrubs. Travelers may only take 3 days of time off
within a contract. Any absences exceeding this may result in
contract termination. References from two supervisors are required.
Interviewing with the manager may or may not be necessary for this
position. Candidates are expected to manage their time off to
