TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20007! Pay Information $2,041 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Telemetry and Vents, PACU experience, or a combination of PACU and ICU or high acuity Emergency Department experience. License: Valid DC RN Licensure (pending licensure accepted with proof of application). Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required prior to starting assignment). Must-Have: - 1 prior travel assignment completed. - Orientation hours: 28 hours. - Flu vaccine required. Description: The PACU RN provides care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The shift includes working staggered hours starting at 7 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, and 11 AM. There is no on-call requirement but a weekend rotation is included in the schedule. Floating may be required based on competency within Pre & Post Op Departments. All colors and patterns of scrubs are acceptable, with a provision for specific OR scrubs. Travelers may only take 3 days of time off within a contract. Any absences exceeding this may result in contract termination. References from two supervisors are required. Interviewing with the manager may or may not be necessary for this position.
