Environmental Health and Safety ManagerSummary:DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading food production company who is looking to add a strong Environmental Health and Safety Manager. This individual will primarily be responsible for ensuring safety thrives through the culture of the company, assessing and implementing new safety policies/programs, and conducting investigations into any on-site incidents using Root Cause Analysis methodology. • Guide teams to create efficient processes through continuous improvement methods
• Keep safety culture throughout company and collaborate with different teams to ensure success
• Assess and evaluate safety areas to improve upon
• Willing to travel 35% - 40% of the timeEHS Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety Management, Engineering, or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Safety Experience, Food industry is a plus!
  • Proven knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Safety laws including OSHA and EPA regulations; USDA certifications are a plus
  • Can demonstrate experience through implementing and updating workplace safety programs and policies
