Temporary, Part-time and Full-time opportunities available.* You pick the hours that work for you, with no regular commitment to weekends or holidays*Responsibilities of the Private Duty Nurse:

• Provide nursing care based on the patient's plan of care and assessed needs
• Prepare clinical progress notes for the patient's record
• Assist the patient and family in learning appropriate self-care techniques
• Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising RN
• Administer patient treatments and medications as prescribed by their physician
• Observe client's physical, mental, and emotional conditionsSkills/Licenses Required:
  • Possess a valid RN & LPN license in the state of VA
  • Minimum of 1-year experience
  • CPR
  • Ventilator and Tracheotomy care
  • Gastrostomy tube care
