Job Description:
Senate Majority PAC (SMP) is seeking a Deputy Research Director
for the 2026 election cycle. SMP is solely dedicated to winning a
Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate.Position:The Deputy Research
Director at SMP will play a leading role in executing SMP's
research efforts across the Senate map.Responsibilities
Include:Assisting in managing SMP's research department;
Creating and executing research plan to support SMP's efforts
across the map;
Working with SMP's senior team and campaign consultants to develop
messaging strategy;
Implementing and overseeing research approval process for paid
media and polling;
Working with SMP's legal team to assess risks of paid media and
polling;
Working with allied organizations to ensure research needs are
met;
Fulfilling other tasks as needed.Qualifications:Previous political
campaign experience required, including:
At least two cycles of experience working in political research
preferred;
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to
detail;
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours when
needed;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college,
preferred but not required.
