Role Overview:As a Lead Generation Sales Representative, you'll be
pivotal in boosting revenue through proactive outreach to small and
mid-sized businesses. You will identify and qualify leads,
facilitate appointments for our outside sales team, and manage
targeted lists to maximize lead generation. This position is ideal
for a tech-savvy professional ready to grow in the sales landscape
of the tech industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify New Opportunities: Engage with small and medium-sized
businesses, applying lead generation techniques to uncover new
sales prospects.
- Meet Performance Goals: Exceed lead generation targets by
utilizing phone and email outreach, transferring qualified leads to
the sales team.
- Manage Lead Nurturing: Handle follow-ups on marketing-driven
inquiries and nurture leads through to qualification.
- Conduct Targeted Research: Gather and analyze data on small and
mid-sized business prospects to develop actionable prospecting
lists.
- Prepare for Client Engagements: Qualify leads, schedule
meetings, and conduct pre-visit research on prospects.
- Use CRM Tools Effectively: Document activities meticulously in
CRM tools to keep records current and accessible.
- Pipeline Management: Optimize lead pipeline management to
deliver strong, measurable results.
- Execute Outbound Campaigns: Develop and conduct tailored
outbound calling campaigns for targeted markets, events, or
industries.
- Support Sales Channels: Assist direct or indirect sales
channels when required to drive revenue.
- Engage in Proactive Outreach: Use phone-based prospecting with
a conversational approach to uncover potential new business
opportunities. Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior B2B inside sales and lead generation
experience is essential. Exposure to the small business sector is
advantageous.
- Sales & Communication Skills: Strong phone-based prospecting
and marketing abilities, with a knack for creative outreach,
handling objections professionally, and connecting with
decision-makers.
- CRM Proficiency: Competence with Hubspot or similar CRM
platforms, including data management, reporting, and best practice
sharing.
- Self-Management: Proven ability to self-organize schedules and
lead pipelines to consistently meet objectives.
- Inbound and Outbound Engagement: Comfortable fielding inbound
leads and performing outbound cold calls with a professional
approach.
- Adaptability and Independence: Thrives in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial setting and excels when working both independently
and as part of a team.
