Description Leidos seeks an experienced Data Manager to support our customer's data integrity efforts on a data engineering program. The successful candidate will work as part of a close knit, collaborative team that partners with our customer to ingest and ETL disparate data sets and make it available to support data science initiatives.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:

• Help optimize established databases and design future database structures
• Establish systematic data knowledge management mechanisms for data reporting requirements and deconfliction conversations
• Review Apache NiFi data flows and work with data partners to determine data completeness
• Build interactive data visualizations to help stakeholders assess their data holdings and identify trouble areasWork collaboratively across all facets of the team:
  • directly with data providers to cure issues
  • with developers and data engineers to capture and implement data requirements
  • with data scientists to help auto-generate new collection interestsBasic Qualifications
    • Must have a Masters and at least 15 years work experience
    • Must have a TS/SCI with Poly to be consideredTechnical skills:
      • Programming experience with Python and SQL
      • Experience with Cloudera Hadoop and Impala
      • Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines with Git or similar
      • Familiarity with Apache NiFi
      • Familiarity with AWSDemonstrated experience:
        • Assessing data quality and integrity.
        • Creating and managing various types of databases.
        • Developing custom database scripts, queries, and graphical interfaces.
        • Designing and optimizing logical data architectures
        • Configuration management
        • Performance metricsPay Range:Pay Range $142,350.00 - $219,000.00 - $295,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only -and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
