sector is looking for a Business Operations Program Manager 2 to
support the product line within the Satellite Programs Department
in the Mission Critical Programs Operating Unit. A successful
candidate works well in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the
opportunity to define possible.The Business Operations Manager
position will interface with the product line director, program
managers, functional managers, program control analysts,
schedulers, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial
and administrative support and analysis to meet program
requirements. Candidate should have experience and knowledge with
Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and be
able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts
within the product line. This Business Operations Manager
will:Ensure CAMs fulfill their CAM duties such as IMS updates, ETC
updates etc.Review and analyze financial data reported by each CAM
and program and track trendsDevelop a product line roll it up
report to present to product line director on a weekly basisDesign,
build and support analytics that fulfill business
requirements.Formulate recommendations that will be used to advise
and drive decision making by product line/program management and
other teams within the organization.Create and maintain reports and
dashboards to deliver business intelligence to the
organization.Support proposal development and program baseline
establishmentsProvide assistance and support the development and
roll out of reports and dashboards.Assist in gathering, analyzing,
and interpreting data sets to identify patterns and
trends.Formulate recommendations to executive management and other
teams in defining business goals and needs.Research new data
gathering and analysis techniques.Perform other duties as
assigned.This is a fast-paced high energy environment that requires
a self-motivated employee to join the team. The ideal candidate
will possess the following traits and abilities:Ability to use
financial systems, to learn basic understanding of EVMS principles
and hands on cost performance reporting/analysis skillsCoordinate
inputs for monthly CDRLs and financial reporting both internally
and externallyDevelop and implement solutions of moderate scope and
complexity; Analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and
process techniques; Work under very generalsupervision while
completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating
potential issues to ensure proper management focus; Exert some
influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal
skills while representing the group on special projects outside of
own group.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and 8 years, or
Master's and 4 years' experience supporting U.S. Government
contracts and customers and/or project management in other
industries4 years demonstrated success leading teams/and or
organizations to achieve a common goal (experience in professional,
academic, and other relevant settings is acceptable)4 years of
experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost
and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated
program team, cost account manager or business managerActive Top
Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a SCI level
access.Planning, Scheduling & Earned Value: The ability to
initiate, develop, integrate, execute, direct and control program
plans and cost and schedule baselines that meet both program
contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.Program
Integration: The ability to identify, orchestrate, coordinate and
controls the management activities and processes that integrate
program interdependencies throughout their life cycle to achieve
successful program completion.Preferred Qualifications:Active Top
Secret with SCI ClearanceProject Management Professional (PMP)
certificationExperience in business managementExperience in the
space industryExperience in production of small
satellitesExperience managing various contract types to include
CPFF, CPIF, FFPSalary Range: $143,500 USD $215,300 USDEmployees may
be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
