Description: The Director of Campus Operations provides direct
support to the Campus Provost for the management and/or
coordination of the campus budget and other non-academic functions
of the campus, such as facilities planning, supervision of Campus
Storeroom staff and operations, campus coordination of fixed asset
management processes, space management, emergency and safety
planning/management, and special project management related to
campus needs. In addition, the Director acts as a liaison between
the campus and the college offices of Financial Services and
Administrative Services to ensure effective coordination and
completion of essential campus projects. The DCO plays an integral
role in business continuity planning, especially as it relates to
operations and logistics.Duties and Tasks: The Director of Campus
Operations reports to the Provost and is responsible for campus
budget planning and management as well as other non-academic
functions related to the operations of the campus. The position
requires communication, coordination, and collaboration with both
internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the Provost's
Staff, the Director works cooperatively with personnel across the
campus in budget planning to ensure smooth operations that support
the teaching and learning mission of the college. The Director also
communicates, and coordinates with central offices in the college
including Finance and Administration, Facilities,
Purchasing/Procurement, Emergency Planning/Management, Campus
Police, and Auxiliary Services. The Director is responsible for
supervising the Campus Storekeeper and daily operations of the
campus storerooms, collaborating with Finance and Administration to
complete annual inventory processes, tracking and recordkeeping of
fixed assets. The Director also works with community
organizations/individuals who wish to hold events using/renting
campus facilities not managed by the staff of VP of Workforce
Development and Marketing. The Director is required to foster an
environment of excellent customer service in support of the budget
and operations of the campus. Develop, operationalize and evaluate
