position is responsible for leading the Compliance Program for
Danaher's Water Quality Platform. The successful candidate will
partner with WQ associates globally to ensure compliance with
industry, regulatory, and Danaher Corporation requirements. He or
she will drive the platform's Compliance Program by leading a team
of compliance professionals; implementing written policies,
procedures, and standards; leading effective training programs;
conducting monitoring and auditing; and helping to manage the
internal investigation program. This person in this this position
will also proactively identify compliance-related gaps or issues
and advise our platform's businesses and functions on how to
mitigate potential risks. The successful candidate will have
excellent communication skills and act as a change agent to
engender a culture of compliance within WQ. The position will
report to the WQ Platform VP & GC and will flexibly be based at one
of our WQ facilities located in CA, CO, NY, VA or WA. Core
Responsibilities Lead the Water Quality Platform's Anticorruption
Program ("ACP") Provide team leadership to our compliance
professionals responsible for our ACP and its rigorous channel
partner screening and training processes Develop training materials
and standard work to enable our associates (especially those in the
Compliance, Finance and Sales functions) to identify go-to-market
risks and to screen, interview, manage, and audit channel partners
using a well-developed set of risk-based "touch points" Monitor and
report on our overall progress against ACP objectives, and devise
and implement countermeasures as needed to meet those objectives
Serve as WQ's representative on Danaher's Compliance Council,
responsible for sharing best practices and helping cascade these
from Danaher to the operating companies and across operating
companies Provide oversight of WQ's trade compliance programs
Directly and indirectly supervise trade compliance professionals
and operations associates in N. America with trade compliance
responsibilities to help ensure our businesses' compliance with
applicable important and export requirements Conduct import and
export assessment of the platform's manufacturing sites in N.
America to identify any weaknesses and implement corrective
measures Collaborate with local outside counsel and local
operations associates in Latin America to help ensure that our
trade compliance programs in this region are robust and operating
consistent with the applicable requirements Coordinate with local
trade compliance and operations associates in Europe, Middle East
and Asia as needed to facilitate compliant cross-border
transactions between our Americas sites and our subsidiaries in
other regions Foster our worldwide associates and business
partners' continuous improvements in compliance & integrity Promote
the use of the Compliance Hotline ("Speak Up!" program), instill a
heightened awareness of Danaher's Standards of Conduct, and impart
good understanding of new and existing compliance issues and
related policies, procedures, and resource implications Lead or
assist with objective, prompt, and thorough investigations and
corrective actions in response to alleged or detected violations of
laws, regulations or the SOC Identify potential areas of compliance
vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective actions to
resolve problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to
avoid or address similar future situations. This may include not
only anticorruption and trade compliance issues but also regulatory
compliance pertaining to hazardous substances, controlled
substances, and a variety of other matters. Partner with the
appropriate business areas to deliver supplemental compliance
training that further amplifies the corporate program, engages
employees, and addresses specific needs within WQ Monitor and
report results of the platform's ACP, "Speak Up!" and other
compliance programs and provide actionable insight to senior
leadership based on what we learn from these programs Skills and
Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in
compliance-related roles; preferably 3+ years managing others Deep
knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and practical
understanding of how they apply to business operations, especially
global anticorruption laws (e.g., US FCPA and UK Bribery Act) Good
working knowledge of US export and import laws, preferably
including experience setting up and overseeing export controls
appropriate for a business that has limited or no ITAR-controlled
transactions and a practical working understanding of the
Reasonable Care standard for US imports Experience in developing,
launching and maintenance policies and procedures for a Compliance
Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical,
or improper conduct Experience in developing and maintaining
effective lines of communication across functions Strong project
management skills, including managing multiple projects at the same
time, closely managing budgets and resources, and reporting
progress and risks to peers and business leaders Deep knowledge and
understanding of compliance risk management practices and
methodologies, including risk assessment, monitoring/surveillance,
and testing activities Strong business and financial acumen, with
demonstrated understanding of core business processes, e.g.,
through prior service on a leadership team or experience managing a
complex business project Preferred experience in conducting gap
assessments and researching and implementing solutions for a wide
variety of regulatory compliance issues, spanning not only
anti-corruption and trade compliance but also regulations regarding
hazardous substances, controlled substances, or related matters
Preferred ability to act as a clearinghouse for compliance lessons
learned and best practices Preferred experience in monitoring the
performance of a Compliance Program and related activities on a
continuing basis and taking appropriate steps to improve the
effectiveness Education and License Requirements Bachelor of
Science or Bachelor of Arts degree required Juris Doctor, LLM, MBA,
or CPA preferred Compliance certifications/credentials preferred
Leadership Skills and Personal Trait Profile Ability to apply
business and technical expertise to identify potential issues and
partner with colleagues across WQ to help solve problems of
significant importance to the company Ability to set and monitor
program objectives that are aligned with global Danaher Corporation
objectives as well as the needs of the WQ leadership team and other
associates Ability to work in a matrixed, multidisciplinary
organization Ability to lead diverse, multi-country teams to
generate a vision, establish direction, motivate colleagues and
employees, encourage diverse views, and encourage improvement and
development Strong written and verbal communications skills and the
ability to act as a change agent through dynamic interactions with
others Strong relationship management skills: ability to build and
maintain productive relationships with leaders of other functional
areas within and across WQ to seek alignment on objectives for the
benefit of the Water Quality Platform and Danaher Corporation.
Strong capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
highly motivated with strong initiative and follow-through to
complete projects in a professional and timely manner Willing and
able to take a firm stance on the right side of the line, even if

this role is 175K - 277K. This is the range that we in good faith
believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the
time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the
posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be
performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a
