This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Neustar Listings Management Product Management team, focused on enabling businesses to manage their online identity throughout the local search ecosystem. The Product Manager will be responsible for assessing, prioritizing and executing product initiatives for our distribution publisher network aimed at supporting the growth and distribution of our listings management platform. The successful candidate will have a strong background in product life-cycle management and go to market best practices. This individual will need to harness the resources of the organization and will be strategic as well as tactical.
Key Tasks/Duties:

• Establish yourself as a local search subject matter expert staying on top of industry trends and meeting with customers to understand their needs.
  
• Outline the product strategy and roadmap for the Localeze distribution product offerings to grow our position as a thought leader in the local search listing management space.
  
• Develop and execute a plan to get Localeze managed business listings used authoritatively, in a timely manner, and with reporting metrics at more high value distribution partners.
  
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, channels and customers to understand the commercial drivers for specific product features.
  
• Balance product requirements and market impact against time to market and project risks.
  
• Work closely with customers and Neustar subject matter experts to develop clear and concise product requirements to help drive the strategic roadmap and product/feature development.
  
• Represent Neustar at related industry events and webinars.
  
• Work with peer teams to prepare and maintain Sales, Marketing, Proposal and Contract collateral for customer opportunities.
  
• Have the ability to travel to meet clients and internal stakeholders while planning and delivering solutions.
  Qualifications/Education
  
  • Bachelor's degree; business or technical discipline preferred. Master's degree a plus.
    
  • 5+ years of product management or related experience in the local search space or working on products serving small and medium sized businesses.
    
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize workload, handle multiple priorities simultaneously and possess exceptional follow-up and problem resolutions skills
    
  • Should be proactive and demonstrate ability to work independently and produce results across multiple functional organizations, both internal and external
    
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with customers both pre and post-sales.
    
  • Seeking a team player with strong interpersonal communication, writing and presentation skills
    
  • This position requires travel (20%+/-)
