Job Description What We Are Looking For : The Compensation Manager role, reporting to the Director of Compensation will be responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with the market and with Neustar's compensation philosophy. - This role will provide compensation consulting support to our business partners and lead major annual compensation projects and processes. - The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of compensation experience, superior communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to build relationships across the HR group and the business groups. Here's How You'll Make A Difference: Responsible for providing consulting to HR business partners across the business with respect to all compensation matters including base salary, retention and promotion in support of business objectives Lead annual compensation projects such as merit review, promotions, and bonus from design through execution, including detailed project planning, communication planning, risk analysis and execution through cross team collaboration Support and improve compensation related processes and programs through data creation, analytics, modeling, reporting and auditing across the organization Review market data to assess competitive positioning on cash, incentive and equity and provide compensation recommendations for new hires and promotions Participate in and analyzes salary surveys and other available competitor information sources to ensure a competitive compensation structure. Ensure compliance of all compensation programs with federal and state regulations; conducts periodic audits of salaries to identify any potential problems or non-compliance issues. Audit internal processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improvements. Assist in Sales Compensation and Executive Compensation program design and analysis Assist in preparing and delivering training materials for management and employees in regards to compensation programs What You Bring to the Table: Experience developing presentations and other communication materials for different audiences, including senior level executives Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects -Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, exercise good judgment and handle confidential information. Strong teamwork skills required as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment. Strong oral and written communication, organizational and analytical skills. - Effectively shares/ disseminates information; listens to others and incorporates/integrates information. The Fine Print: Bachelor's Degree in Human resources or related field required SPHR or PHR Certification highly desired Minimum 6 years of compensation design High Technology or Information Services industry experience preferred Strong quantitative ability and analytical skills, advanced Excel skills Experience with Workday is a plus
