Job Description Job Description Job Title: UAV Assembly Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team in assembling UAVs for Department of Defense customers. You will play a crucial role in assembling electro-mechanical components and subassemblies, ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality. Responsibilities Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Perform electrical wiring and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards. Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed. Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems. Mechanical aptitude. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is based in a warehouse/production environment with individual workstations. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr. medical, dental, vision, 401, PTO Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Manassas,VA.
