Details Job Details: We are seeking a highly motivated and
experienced Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer to join our
dynamic team. The CI Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving
process improvements, optimizing work methods, and enhancing
production efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to lead
automation, tooling enhancements, and standardize the facility
layout. If you are passionate about Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma,
and have a knack for process optimization, we would like to meet
you. Responsibilities: 1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives
across all levels of the organization. 2. Develop and implement
strategies to optimize work methods and enhance production
efficiency. 3. Lead automation and tooling enhancements to improve
productivity and reduce costs. 4. Standardize facility layout and
implement line balancing techniques to optimize workflow. 5. Use
Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to
identify and eliminate waste and non-value added activities. 6.
Implement Supply Chain Planning (SCP) to ensure smooth and
efficient operations. 7. Conduct Time Study analysis to identify
bottlenecks and areas for improvement. 8. Develop and implement
cost-saving initiatives and strategies. 9. Work towards MUV
reduction by improving processes and eliminating unnecessary steps.
10. Use MTM (Methods-Time Measurement) for process optimization.
11. Determine and implement optimal takt time for various
production processes. 12. Implement 5S methodology to improve
organization and efficiency. 13. Utilize Kanban system for
effective inventory management and production control.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a
related field is required. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a
similar role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proven
experience in process improvement, production efficiency, and work
method optimization. 4. Demonstrated ability to lead automation,
tooling enhancements, and standardize facility layout. 5. Strong
knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and
Six Sigma methodologies. 6. Experience with SCP, Time Study, and
Cost Savings strategies. 7. Proven track record in MUV reduction
and process optimization using MTM. 8. Experience in determining
and implementing optimal takt time. 9. Familiarity with 5S
methodology and Kanban system. 10. Excellent problem-solving skills
and attention to detail. 11. Strong communication and leadership
skills. 12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage
