Johnson Controls, a leader in smart building technologies, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electronics to enhance building efficiency, sustainability, and security solutions globally. As part of our engineering team, you will work on cutting-edge projects that integrate innovative technologies into real-world applications, focusing on delivering superior results and customer satisfaction. Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, focusing on sustainability and efficiency improvements. Lead multiple project teams in the development of technical specifications, plans, and project documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electromechanical systems with broader building technologies. Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes conform to the organization's established policies and objectives. Utilize advanced understanding of the latest technologies to contribute ideas for cutting edge solutions. Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and support their skill development. Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering software (e.g., CAD tools) and principles Strong understanding of smart technology integration within the architecture of buildings Ability to oversee and manage large-scale engineering projects Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills for interfacing with clients, contractors, and team members Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or specific engineering tools and software
