AVENU-- --- - --- - is looking for a Cloud Engineer for our Avenu Platform (a Bank as a Service platform). We need a dynamic Cloud Engineer to partner with our product management, platform development, technical support, and cyber security teams.Role:The Cloud Engineer will work on new development that directly impact our Fintech clients and their customers.Responsibilities:DevelopmentDevelop new features and functionality in an agile environmentDocumentationSystem technical documentationEnvironment documentationDiscovery of new network components and resourcesDocumentation of configuration managementYou'll be a great fit if you:Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and confidence to collaborate effectively with Fintech clients, our Technical Support team and Platform Development teamYou have innovative problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify root issues, trends and critical remediation strategiesHave a career goal of joining a FinTech that is launching new products and services into a dynamic, fast-paced, and competitive marketplaceRequirements:This can be a hybrid / remote position, but may require travel to our Sterling and Fairfax, Virginia offices3+ years of Cloud Application Support experience2+ years of working with payment systemsExperience supporting Cloud/SaaS software products and APIs is highly covetedXaaS technologies, platforms, and applicationsDeveloping software using languages such as Java, Python, Go or other modern languagesKnowledge of web services, API, REST and RPCAn ability to analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirementsAn ability to design and code new software or modify existing software to add new featuresExperience with debugging existing software and correcting defectsKnowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, etc.Database experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQLFamiliarity with working in an Agile software development environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentDedicated to champion customer problem until resolutionAt MainStreet Bank we strive to bring talented, team-oriented individuals on staff to meet and exceed our customers' needs.
