Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An
opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to
support a high school in the Washington DC area. This full-time
contract position spans the current school year, from January 5th
to May 29th, providing vital mental health and psychoeducational
services to students. Responsibilities include: - Conducting
thorough psychological evaluations to assess student needs. -
Collaborating as an integral part of the districts mental health
support team alongside social workers and other professionals. -
Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support
academic and emotional development. - Assisting in the creation and
implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). -
Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to address student
interventions and support. Key qualifications and requirements: -
Active Psychologist licensure in Virginia. - Valid Virginia
Department of Education (DOE) certification. - Proven proficiency
in school-based evaluations. - Ability to contribute effectively
within a multidisciplinary team. - Experience working with high
school-aged students preferred. - 37.5 hours per week commitment.
Location: - The position serves a single high school approximately
45 minutes south of Washington DC. This role offers an excellent
