Job Description Job Description General Maintenance and Supplies Technician The General Maintenance and Supplies Technician (GMST) performs essential upkeep tasks throughout the PBCS offices, Day habilitation and Residential sites. In this position, he/she will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as managing the medical equipment and supplies inventory, vehicles maintenance, homes and offices repairs and storage spaces clearing, arrangement and rearrangement to ensure that our facilities are both safe and functional. The GMST also fixes and maintains medical and mechanical equipment, and machines. Tasks include minor plumbing work, painting, flooring and walls repair and upkeep, minor electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. When needed the GMST will assist in driving to pick-up and drop-off Day Program participants when short of drivers. The GMST shall select and contract specialists on larger maintenance related projects and collaborates with the team of specialists and other professionals during renovations and/or facility expansions, advises the President and Senior Accountant in the purchasing of new equipment.
