Job Description Job Description Payroll Manager (Construction) We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee expense programs. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll operations while serving as a key point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and reimbursement programs. This position will be in office 4 days a week with 1 remote day and salary range is $90-105k, commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities - Process and reconcile bi-weekly payroll and payroll tax payments - Administer employee timekeeping systems and maintain payroll records - Review payroll and benefits reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies - Manage 401(k) and HSA contribution submissions and review benefits invoices - Maintain employee records within HRIS, timekeeping systems, and ERP platforms - Oversee corporate credit card and gas card programs, including monitoring usage - Administer vehicle reimbursement and employee expense reimbursement programs - Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and expense questions Qualifications - 5 years of payroll processing experience - Construction industry payroll experience - Experience with HRIS and payroll systems - Knowledge of benefits administration and certified payroll preferred - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
