a renowned government transportation contractor to seek a highly
skilled and results-oriented Payroll Manager. This role involves a
comprehensive range of responsibilities, to include managing and
identifying full-charge payroll processes and partnering with
payroll teams to implement process improvements and control

apply now! Key Responsibilities Review payroll processing and
calculations to ensure accuracy, compliance with policies, and
adherence to collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). Identify
payroll processing errors and partner with payroll teams to
implement process improvements and control enhancements. Maintain
and update payroll procedures and playbooks across Kronos,
PeopleSoft, and Oracle Fusion Time & Labor and Payroll modules.
Develop and analyze payroll reporting and metrics, including trends
from payroll-related help desk tickets. Review, test, and document
payroll corrections, reconciliations, and manual calculations to
ensure proper controls and compliance. Key Requirements Bachelor’s
degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant payroll experience;
advanced degree preferred. CPP (Certified Payroll Professional)
certification required. At least 2 years of experience at a Payroll
Manager or equivalent senior payroll leadership level. Strong
experience with Kronos Timekeeping, PeopleSoft, and Oracle Fusion
Payroll systems. Proven expertise in payroll controls,
reconciliations, and compliance within public or private sector
