Our employees enjoy more than just a great work environment!This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA on a Hybrid/Remote scheduleResponsibilities:Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and deploymentDevelop and maintain software applications for organizational messaging systems, adhering to established coding standards and best practicesMaintain and modify legacy codeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure messaging solutionsEnsure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software via thorough testing, debugging, and optimizationStay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practicesConduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement.Present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesJob Requirements:Qualifications:An active DoD Secret Clearance is requiredBachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 8+ years experience, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience in lieu of a degree (6 years)Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practicesProficiency and experience building web interfaces via React componentsProficiency in working with SQL, C#, JavaScript, git in other words, a full stack developerIdeal candidate would have experience porting from .NET Framework to .NET CoreStrong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are requiredA professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are requiredThe successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.Telos maintains a drug-free workplace and will conduct drug testing on all applicants who have accepted an offer of employmentTelos Corporation participates in the E-Verify program.
